Somehow those old sayings from your parents can ring true. My Mum always said to us as kids “count your blessings”. I now finally understand what she was on about.
We tend to concentrate on what’s WRONG in our lives not what’s GOOD.
A great tool for this is creating a gratitude list. This is a list of things that make you happy, things you like about yourself, things you are grateful for in your business your family, your friends , your health and your life.
Recently I caught up with an old friend and he makes a daily gratitude list on his phone (he took a pic of us together again for his list) and I thought what a great idea.
I find when I get a bit down or life seems difficult quietly contemplating my gratitude list can really change my frame of mind. Try it…. It’s really a really powerful easily implemented technique.
