I have a great habit that I learned on a course years ago and it really works.
Early every Friday I go for a coffee at my local Starbucks (as they have good WIFI and my favourite comfortable armchair) and make this my “clearing time”. I set aside non urgent tasks (adding them to my TO DO list) throughout the week and hold these tasks until Friday morning. For 2 hours or so I power through them uninterrupted… its probably my most productive time all week.
This means I don’t get derailed by less important tasks during the week but rather attack them all at one time and end THE week on top of things ready to start afresh next week
